Q: What level of protection should I choose?
  A: Together with one of our Armoring Specialists we will establish your needs for complete security and choose a level right for you. The Level most common in the USA is the Handgun Level, which uses ½ inch thick glass and ballistic steel, and guarantees protection from handguns such as, .44 Magnum, .357 Magnum, 9mm, and .38 Special’s. If a client has the need for protection against lager threats, like the M-16 and AK-47, we also offer Assault Rifle Levels of protection.

Q: How much weight does the armoring add to the vehicle?
  A: The weight added to a handgun level vehicle can range from 300 to 700 pounds, depending on the model of vehicle. For the assault rifle levels of protection we add about 1,000 to 4,000 pounds depending on the level of protection, material used in the armoring process, and size of the vehicle. Careful consideration is used to ensure each the armoring level chosen will match with the base vehicles engine size and horsepower.

Q: Does an armored vehicle make more noise?
  A: The armoring acts as an acoustic buffer making the armored vehicle quieter. Occasionally with time noises may occur. For this reason we offer a one year guarantee to fix any such problems quickly and accurately.

  A: The armoring is an added feature, therefore when the vehicle is to be sold it should be appraised with the added value of this protection.
